Will Susan and I be married soon?
There is a mountain of obstacles before you. The relationship you are in currently keeps you bound to a life where you cannot commit to marriage, or a future with Susan. I understand that you care for her deeply, that you love her and feel a passion and a desire for her that you do not feel for your wife, but without making some changes in your life, there will not be a future with Susan. I know that you fantasize about leaving your wife and making a life with Susan, but this jump, as you know, would be complicated and messy considering the kind of connection she and your wife share. It would have a very dramatic and messy end, and that is an immense strain on a new relationship. These things hold you back, as when it comes to making hard choices, and moving forward, I sense you hesitate when faced with conflict, with the pain and hurting this is sure to cause for everyone. So you sort of stay in this limbo, niether here nor there, with the possibilities for your future hanging in the balance.
My advice to you hun, is to find your own happiness. If you do not love your wife anymore, leave her, leaver her kindly and gently, with respect and kindness. Leave her to find her own happiness and her own path. Once seperated, once available for a relationship and a comittment, you could then open your heart and your life to Susan, and see what develops. Anything short of that, I see as ending in a very negative way, because of the degree of complexity of this situation.
