A psychic once told me that I needed to cleanse my aural field because I had bad energy that was keeping my soulmate out of reach, he wanted $700 for the ritual and told me I could be happy in 30 days after. I didn't do it but do you know if he was for real? I have been alone so long and I can't help but wonder sometimes if he was for real.
This was a clear attempt to defraud you. The psychic in question wanted your money, and more importantly your dependence on him. You did well not to pursue the connection with him and sever ties, as he would only have taken advantage of you and left you for broke.
I do not sense that you have any bad or negative energy surrounding you that is holding back, though I can clearly feel a sense of sadness and failure in love that is tainting your hopes for the future. You have some issues you need to work out in your heart, about your faith in love, your willingness to believe you can find happiness and nurture a loving stable relationship. There is an obstacle in your path, but it is very much rooted in your own heart, emotional anxieties and reluctance having to do with unresolved pain from your past. Nora, my husband has a bad habit of criticizing me all the time. He treats me like I am property and I should be how he wants. I'd like to stay with him, because I really love him, and he is a great dad to our daughter, but when will he get better? I get tired of feeling always like I am not good enough.
Your husband does not realize the impact of his words, and the damage that they can do. He loves you very much, but he does not see a problem. I sense that you have always sought to please him, to gain his approval, and in this he has made some dangerous assumptions and moved into a position of feeling that he is not your equal, but more superior to you. This is something that must change, as it is a dangerous pattern, and will only lead to more unhappiness and frustration for you. I see that if you do not make yourself clear, this situation will escalate, and you will eventually find yourself feeling completely controlled and resenting him for it.
It is important to talk to him about it and let him know that this is no longer acceptable. He will continue to make comments, as old habits die hard, but if you reaffirm your determination to be seen as an equal, to not be criticized or controlled, he will back off and respect your boundaries, and eventually that warm, comfortable relationship will be back. It is imperative though, that you make this happen by asserting yourself. Good luck to you!
