I am unsure about how this person in my life feels about me. I keep getting subtle signals but we cant seem to move on past that. I would like to know what excatly is going on. This person has help me a lot and does show an geniuen interest and care about what i want. Could you fill me in a little more?

you are right there is a lot of interest, compassion and respect here, and I do sense a close connection, but I don't sense this stems from a romantic bond or interest. I pick up that it is very much a warm loving person responding warmly to a friend, a person seen as worthwhile, special. There doesn't seem to be a strong connection or chemistry physically, but avery strong potential for an intense friendship.

I know that you have hoped otherwise, for something headed more toward a romantic energy, but I am just not picking it up, sorry.
