This particular client asked about the year to come in regards to her marriage and financial situation.

Good day Maria,

It looks like in your marriage there is a real strain. Robert seems to be going through a real phase. Mentally I have to say he is pretty unstable, he has some serious mood swings and moments where he feels really down, sad and depressed, and others where he feels overwhelmingly enthusiastic, excited and hopeful about the future. He is very much a man of extremes these days and it is getting him to the point where he is very focused on the things he is interested in and desires, and very oblivious to everything else. It’s not that he doesn’t care, it’s that caring is not a priority for him, because so many other things feel so very overwhelming and important for him. A big part of that is this sense of freedom he has been craving, as though it is the key to his happiness, and yet still he is striving for something, unsure of what, as though it’s the only way, but he doesn’t even know what he is looking for anymore. It feels a lot like a midlife crisis, being so terrified that he has not lived his life to the fullest, that he has been in a rut, and needs change right away, followed by a total loss as to what to do with himself.

Don’t get me wrong, he is a good man. He has a kind soul and a good heart, the problem is he does not always listen to it. He has allowed his fear of getting old with regrets, without having experienced everything he thinks will be fulfilling and happy in life, to rule his choices, and hurt the people he loves. He may not act like it, but he still loves you very much, honestly he does... but he is not being true to those emotions, choosing instead to lead this facade and go through the motions of what feels like life, vitality, youth. But essentially he is lost, doesn’t know where he is headed, but knows that he has just given up a lot for this path, so he is afraid, stressed, frustrated, not feeling the kind of zest for life he had hoped for. In a nutshell, he spends most of his time feeling sorry for himself, and wanting to branch out and do new and exciting things. It’s a strange situation, niether here nor there, happy or miserable, just in a weird limbo of his own creation.

And yet.. He still loves you, and knows he is hurting you, and that really bothers him... but he is too proud to be sorry, too stubborn to make amends, and too deluded to truly fathom what he is missing out on. This is one of those choices, that will ring true with regret and sadness, at what he has done. Much more so, than any opportunity to be free, or experiment, or feel young.

Unfortunately, I do not see him having any major changes of heart anytime soon. Without some real maturity and soul searching, he is on this path pretty determinately. He chose it for himself, and he continues, it is of course not a good one, one that he will be very sorry he chose, but at the same time, being something he is doing out of his own volition, the likelihood he will change is somewhat slim. I also sense in his life another person, a woman I believe, pulling and tugging him in that direction, poking and prodding him to do as she wishes, and free himself from the marriage, to gravitate toward her. He does not seem to have any really serious emotional attachment to her, but there is a hold on him, that is hard for him to shake, or see for what it is, which is manipulation pure and simple.

It’s not that I never see him coming back, because I do, it’s just that I do not see him coming back with any real change, before you have really had your fill. What he has put you through has been pretty inconsiderate and heartless, and I see deep inside you, and anger and a mistrust, that will not fade easily. It doesn’t look positive over the next few months, as far as any major change, but what I do see is strength and peace coming to you, as you have to pick up the pieces and do what you can with what you have now. This whole thing is making you stronger, though I know that is of little comfort now. He will continue to be in touch and keep this neither here nor there, little communication and sort of distant but then sometimes reaching out emotionally for fleeting moments, routine, for a while, but I see in May a big change in his attitude, from a need for escape to a sadness at having lost so much, hurt you to this point, because from what I see, when he tries to come back, it will be very difficult to move forward. Because no matter how much you want things to be happy again, to go back to better times, so much has happened, and it will be next to impossible, to heal a lot of this. It may not be clear until he is there in front of you, asking for forgiveness, but when the time comes, your heart will know what to do. Just remember, that you are worthy of respect, love and truth, and that your trust should be earned not demanded, so do not be afraid to exact standards and expectations, when the situation comes. It looks to me around early May, he may be offering you this apologetic nature and a genuine desire to reconnect.

Financially I see an improvement coming for you this year, your card spread talks of thinking outside of the box, tapping into your creativity and ideas to bring in some extra, which leads me to believe you are poised at a perfect time to start or really dive into a small home business project. You have a lot to offer, and having a look at work at home business ideas, would be a really good idea for you, to bring in some bonus finances, because you have a really strong energy when it comes to creating your own destiny, especially financially right now. You are a really capable and talented person, and it looks like something in sales or consulting could be really well suited to you. It looks like a slow progression that could start as early this spring, small at first but growing quickly over time. It is very important for you to work to keep your motivation and confidence up, because sometimes I know it is hard for you to try new things or venture out into new endeavors, the fear of failure always looms, but know that your financial success, is really contingent on you making it happen. You have what it takes, and with some creative thinking and applying yourself, you will be able to make your own success. This attitude change will be helpful in finding work as well.

For him it looks sort of stagnant, a constant struggle to get his business where he would like to be. This personal turmoil and confusion he has in his life right now is not helping his focus. So unfortunately I do not see him getting any real improvements any time soon. Very much an ongoing difficulty for him. You may even find him asking you for help as time progresses.

It’s tough looking for jobs right now, it’s very competitive and hard to get yourself noticed among all of the people applying. I know too that it can be discouraging to face rejection every time, but know that what makes you unique is your personality. You are a hard worker and a well respected person, you carry yourself professionally but also personably, but your big selling point in your smile, your attitude, your ideas, the whole package! Any place that is not hiring you simply does not know you, and your potential, all you have to offer. So do not allow yourself to feel discouraged, just keep working at keeping your energy high and positive. I see an interview for a job coming up in mid February it looks like, with a company, I think the name starts or has a significant R in it, but anyways I see strong possibilities here, just get to the interview and you will blow them away, because they will be looking for real personal suitability, a spark, something unique… because people with skills and experience are all over. Just keep high motivation and positive thought and you will be working before the month of March begins.

Just remember that your attitude and energy will affect the outcome here. Your cards show positive thought, confidence and determination will take you down the path to success. Though it looks like a slow steady struggle getting there, I see you persevering and finding a real serene happiness and peace in your life this year.
